Our social commitment

Inter-company nursery

Filet Bleu takes employee welfare seriously. Today 60% of the workforce is women, averaging 35 years old. In order to allow young mothers to keep their jobs, Filet Bleu co-founded an inter-company nursery project. Managed by the association « Alliance Cornouaille » since 2007, the nursery « Tôt ou Tard » (meaning Early or Late) has places for 80 children, five of whom are from Filet Bleu, from Monday to Saturday, 5:30am to 10pm.

Solidarity: handicapped staff

Filet Bleu is involved on a social level: around 10 permanent workers have disabilities: because at Filet Bleu we have courage in our convictions, we also work with temporary staff from the social enterprise « Sevel Service » for manual repacking.

Professional development in the company

At Filet Bleu, the professional future of our employees is important. The company has established a professional development policy. We encourage employees to obtain qualifications recognised throughout the agrifood sector. This concerns four professions: packaging operator, line supervisor, pastry chef and service engineer. This policy has proven success with 10 line supervisors obtaining a professional qualification certificate.

Life at work

In participative working groups we think about the way we communicate in the company, our organisation and the improvement of communal facilities (break room, lunch room…) and production facilities (ergonomics of workstations, movements and posture).

Our biannual internal magazine sums up the news over the previous semester.
